Temperature Controlled Cargo

Temperature controlled freight shipping is the transport of goods that are sensitive to certain temperature conditions, and require special handling and storage to maintain stable temperatures throughout transportation. Airlines, Shipping lines and transport companies use different types of equipment such as reefer containers or envirotainers to transport larger temperature controlled shipments.

Shipments such as Pharmaceuticals, medical goods such as vaccines and reagents are shipped using different types of cooling methods. Dry ice or gel packs are used to maintain certain temperatures during transportation. 

These shipments are time sensitive and is mainly shipped as priority.
